729. Prakru Pinitsamajarn, the former abbot of Wat Namatum sub district, Panusnikom district, Chonburi. When being a child, Luangpor Doe Chaisamer studied from Praajarn Pun, the abbot of Wat Namatum. He was ordained at Wat Namatum and had Praajarn Peng, the abbot of Wat Narphrathat was a preceptor. He studied Pali and black art with Ajarn Pun and Ajarn Peng. When graduated from those teachers, he took a trip to visit a professor of black magic, such as Luangpor Sang of Wat Nernsang in Railakthong sub district and Luangpor Tim of Wat Laharnrai. Luangpor Doe was an abbot instead of Praajarn Pun in 2440, a dean of district in 2476, and the preceptor in 2481, along with the priest's rank "Prakru Pinitsamajarn". He is the highest rank priest in 2512. He is a monk who has strong magical black art and is accepted by people who are so close and so far. Every temple that hold the ceremony to consecrate the sacred objects and coins must have his name Luangpor Doe in the name list including receiving the invitation: anointing home, car, signboard, etc. Apart from, his black art ability, he is also a traditional medicine doctor treating many diseases. This make him famous including people wants to pay homage and posses a sacred object continuously, specifically, the coins in Burying Loknimit ceremony, JPR coins and clasps. Luangpor Doe died on April 10, 2515, and Supreme Patriarch was a president in the funeral ceremony on March 16, 2518.

The content is divided into 3 parts which are as follow: 1. the history of Chon Buri, a map, location, administration, history about taking advantages of land in Chonburi including Chakri Dynasty and the development in Chonburi 2. local traditions in Chonburi like a Buffalo Race, Wan Lai, Tumbun Klang Ban and Kong Kao 3. a sort of local tradition, which is divided into two types: 1. a local tradition that is going to disappear such as Tibkradan and The Dead Beating Gongs. 2 local tradition is still practicing nowadays, namely the custom about the belief, religion, amusement and entertainment. The book is being studied in 071 documents (our local) of the Division of Social Studies in Ban Pa Yup school in 1971. This book contains the general condition of Chonburi, the history of Chon Buri, the article of ancient communities in Chonburi which has Pra Rod, Praya Rae and Sri Palo city, the article of Choburi in the historic city of Sri Ayutthaya and Thonburi, Chonburi and Maha Chakri family such as His Majesty King Mongkut with a port and Ang Sila, King Rama V and the royal camp at Ang Sila and the development of Koh See Chang to be a deep water port and the pavilion in the summer. The Queen Sawang Wattana has a royal idea to build Somdej Na Sriracha. Her Mejesty Krom Luang Chumphon Khet Udom Sak with the development of Bang Phra naval station. And the King Rama VI with the construction of the naval base at Sattahip.It also gives the information about the important people e.g. Pra Putta Kosajarn, Dr.Ruji Rujirat, Mr.Nart Montasewee and Mr.Athuek Sawasdeemongkol. Then it mentions to the arts and culture in Chonburi province, including 13 places which are 10 art places and 3 traditional places. It also tells about the economy in 1971 and the development project in the east coast area. (Eastern Seaboard).

The book about the analysis of human skeletons at archaeological area, Khok Panomdee, Chonburi. This book is a part of the antiques' analysis from the excavation. The contents of the book are about the study of physical anthropology by measuring and non-measuring for knowing the appearance of pre-historical people with the way of life and their culture. In the book, it mentions to the history of the study about human's skeleton which was found in many archaeological area in every parts of Thailand. It gives the knowledge about Khok Panomdee archaeological place including the location, the surroundings in nowadays, the archaeological places in Chonburi, the history of Khok Panomdee mound and the excavation process with the steps, materials and theory that are used in the study,along with summaries and reviews. The book includes a bibliography at the last page too.

755. Mr. Sommit Malarak was born in 2497 at Samed sub district, Maeng district, Chonburi. The 49-year-old who is skilled and specialized in painting murals and portraits, has interested and loved drawing since was a child. However, his poor family could not support this. He tried to learn by himself since the age of 10 years from a variety of academic texts, both Thai and foreign. He studied the use of color and mixing colors so that he has expertise in mixing thousand colors used to paint a picture. In addition, he studied the drawing from the books of Thai famous artist, Kru Hem wechakorn and the drawing posters from Kru Piek Poster's works in order to apply to his own drawing for his constant career. His drawings are acceptable to the same profession and the local community. The examples of his works include painting murals, portraits, landscape painting, the film poster, advertising billboard, writing various letters and design the ubosod that is beautiful and finely made. Due to his reputation and ability to portray such a long time, he has been hired to draw a picture and has gained the trust of many temples to design an ubosod and paint a mural. He designed ubosod for Wat Taopun, Wat Maisaimun, Wat Kaodin, Wat Angwiang, Wat Sangasri, Wat Klongdan, Wat Buengrainaeng, Wat Dondamrongtam, Wat Naengjamnong, Wat Umpawan (Sriracha) and so on. He drew a mural on Luangpor Ploy's vihara, Wat Taopun and other temples. Mr. Sommit is a nice man who is grateful, honest to his occupation, isolated, not want any fame, determined to create the next drawing and he aims to teach knowledge to the youth, including individuals in the local area that are interested in painting for conserving this art. Cultural Center of Chonburi, Chonkanyanukul School honors Mr. Sommit Malarak as Chon Buri Outstanding Artist in visual art (painting) of the year 2545.

Kong sweets has an ingredients of green beans, peanuts, popped rice, sugar, a flour, eggs and sticky rice flour. The method starts with mixing flour with coconut milk and eggs, kneading until it rises that takes about an hour. Kneadind and having a break for a while will be fine. The method to make the sweets is stewing the sugar until it is sticky. Mix popped rice with powdered bean. Pour the sugar to mix with the mixture again and mold to make a wheel figure. Wholesale price is 3 baht per peice and ratail price is 3 pieces of 10 baht. The maker is Ms. Thawee Baiyai who is 59 years old. She lives at 68 Moo 11, Wat Boat district, Panasnikhom, Chonburi. She inherits this occcupation from her mother. Nowadays, she has her daughter to inherit this work. She make the sweets everyday, 200 pieces per day. She gets the profits about 150 baht.

first I was an intern at Kra Toom Ban district, Samutharasakorn for a year. After that, I got some financial support form my parents to build up a greenhouse for cultivate the orchids. Then improved the plant until become famous and successful. Now, I'm helping and consulting the others about the orchids.

He loved invention since he was young and learned making rainbow papers from his father including Chud, Toom and Ma-Hode (Thai music instrument) for various Thai ceremony such as Kathin Ceremony, Ordination Ceremony and etc. In the old days, a pavilion temple and around a house had to decorated with the rainbow papers when there are those ceremonies.

It is a local tradition in Chonburi by the olsd generation to the youth. From the tradition, it said that Kong Kaow tradition is arranged in many districts such as Maung, Bang Lamoong, Panasnikom and Sriracha. In some area, this tradition is disappeared but not in Sriracha. Sriracha municipality and Thailand tourism arrange Kong Kaow Sriracha tradition since 1993 onwards that is in Mr.Chatchai Timkrachang's period as a mayor. Kong Kaow tradition is arranged on April 19-20 in every year. In the past, people will make an appointment to bring the sweets and food on the table together. Then they invite ghost spirits to eat once a year. It is believed that the ghosts will not harm people. After the ritual, people will sit in circular to have meals together. Have fun with playing, singing and dancing. And they go back home. They don't bring the left over food to home but they will leave it to the animals in the area.

Amid the chaos of the southern Pattaya, there is a quiet place such as Chai Mong Kol temple which is home to the minds of the Buddhist people of Pattaya. Chai Mong Kol temple was built in 2,480 B.E. this temple is the shrine of "Buddha Luang Chai Mong Kol", which is built in the Ayutthaya period. The Buddha was moved by the water to be enshrined at Wat Phra Sing to the present. "Buddha Luang Chai Mong Kol" is the worship of the people, they come here to warshop and beg for blessing to receive all the wish and prosperity themselves. it was Built in 2,480 BE in the Thap Phraya village by Luang Poh Wi Bul Sung Ka Karn (Luang Poh Po) who is a pioneer in the construction of Wat Chai Mong Kol. And the year 2,485 B.E., he brought over a sacred Buddha from Ayutthaya by the river to Ban Thap Phraya. The statue stands 1.50 meters high, was built during the Ayutthaya period around the age of 300 years to be enshrined at Wat Chai Mongkol. After that, Luang Poh has named "Luang Poh Phraput Thaya Mong Kol". To the prosperity of the temple name and people at that era, they go to the temple and warship before they leave the sea for fishing and desire for every wish.

339. Wat Ban Mai, founded in 1857 is located on the 6 acres. This temple was announced in royal granting of the land on June 20, 1971. Additionally, there was a Dharma Studies school was officially opened in 1997.

376. The Public library "Chalerm Rachakumaree" in Bang Lamung district was officially opened by Princess Sirindhorn on August 19, 2536.
