749. Chonburi Artist Award of the Year 2550 in visual art (multimedia), Mr. Dechatorn Srisamai has knowledge and ability in various forms of art. He freedomly creates his works with diverse methods and techniques which are called "multimedia", such as sculpture, carving, metal work, graphic arts, etc. So, he has a variety of works that it is clear to both public and private agencies in Chonburi and neighboring provinces. Furthermore, he is kind and sacrificing man who gets ready to dedicate his time for the common interest as possible, never deny anybody, be not discouraged to any problems and obstacles including taking care of closed people or even his co-worker like a family member. Mr. Dechatorn, thus, is respected by other people because he works with hostile mind and creates the best works.

This book was published for the cremation of Phra Tep Chontanmunee or Wichien reverend father(Luang Pho Wichien) who is an abbot of Wat Krue Wan. The contents are about the history and the works of him when he was alive. The book gathers up the information that Luang Pho Wichien built the closed-eye Buddha, Luang Pho Keaw, necklace of sacred beads, Sarika lipwax and many version of woman statue beckoning happy lot in for 38 versions during in 1938 to 1993. Each version gives the informations include the year that it was built, the form of Buddha image with the illustration. Moreover, it also has a bit of knowledge about dharma ideas over 10 stories e.g. Satu Norradharm, The Letter from Hades, Jade belt, Rat with human's hands, The ways to end the suffering, Because of dharma, Who are you?, Where do you go?, The usual of life, The causality of sin and The spell for preventing the death.

The equipment you have to prepare are stockings, polyester fiber, buttons, color papers, ribbon, camphor, borneol(borneol 1 grams per half of kilograms of camphor) and a glue gun. The method for making doll camphor starts from pinning the stockings to circle figure and putting a polyester fiber inside. Making the face, mouth and hair by using yarn. Using Sa paper to make a cone for bind the pedical. Put the camphor into Sa paper by using a glue paper. For the camphor that is finished, it can be used for many benefits such as hanging in the car, bedroom and a book shelf for protecting the bad smell. Ms.Ubon Tangthai who is 58 years old lives at 19/2 Moo 10, Wat Boat district, Panasnikom. Her old occupation is a teacher but she loves this kind of work. So she resigns from her work and makes the camphor as her occupation by teaching at home and not charging any expenses. She learns how to make this camphor from reading the book, watching TV and trying to make an adjustment all the time. Nowadays, she has many customers and she has done it for 5 years. The cost is 17 baht per piece and sell price is 35 per peice. In the present, there are students from Chonburi school come for studying this work too.

It is a long tradition of Panasnikom people that is held on Friday, Saturday and Sunday of the first week of May or six months of the Thai people. The villagers will bring food to the monks and dedicate merit to the guardian spirit,persons with previous deeds on each other and relatives who have passed away to ward off bad things and make the seasonal rainfall and abundant plants. After the ceremony, they will having food together, local games and Panasnikom wicker's demonstration.

Women organization of Sa Med district has establihed vocational group "Batik craft, Thai soil craftsmanship" for the implementation of the project, One district One product by using the materials that are available in local to increase their value. Using local knowledge to make money and create strength for people in the community. In 2000, we has funding from both public and private agencies to provide materials and experts. The process of batik painting and batik excursions in Phuket start from making a handkerchief by using pattern in the book. Nowadays, the production of a group has more development. The group creates their design themselves that reflect the fishermen's way of life such as fish, shrimp, mussels, squid and crab pattern. They also made by the order of the customer until it is generally well known. In addition to the shirt, the group has developed their products to be various such as pieces of cloth, hat and bag for customer needs.

370. Chonburi national library that is a branch of the Eastern national library is located on Wachiraprakarn road and has an area of approximately 3 ngans and 42 meters. The building has two single buildings connected to each other. The library began serving the first service on December 9, 2526. In 2551, the Chonburi national Library has been operating for student, college students and the general public on Monday to Saturday 09.00 - 17.00 pm excepting on Sunday, Monday and public holiday. Since the year 2526, this library was under controlled by the Director of the National Library. Currently, it belongs to the Fifth Department of Fine Arts from 1 December 2549 on. The library has a chief (equivalent to a section chief) who takes the policies and orders of the Director, Office of Arts 5, Department of Fine Arts, and Ministry of Culture.

Wat Nurn Rae has the land size over 10 acres. It was established on February 27, 1976 and also was announced in royal granting of the land on April 17, 1995. The main buildings that still working consists of “Ubosot” (a Thai style building for monastic ceremonies) which was made of ferroconcrete and a half wood-concrete sermon hall in a monastery.

Wat Mai Phra Ya Tam was established on the land size over 18 acres by an unknown prince in 1871 and then villagers always look after this temple until now. It was announced in royal granting of the land in 1917. The buildings that still working consists of “Ubosot” (a Thai style building for monastic ceremonies) which width 23 meters length 34 meters, sermon hall in a monastery, monk’s abode, fence or wall which length 56 meters for the north 113 meters for the south and east, cremation tower, belfry and the three building which is used as Dhamma School. Now Pra Thom Mahaprasith Utthakosalo is in charge of this place.

341. Wat Prom Ratana Rarm, founded in 1930 is located on the 6 acres. Before changing to use a present name, the old name was Wat ta Kam addressing like a village's name because people had to use the bridge at a temple in order to cross a very deep canal safely. This temple was announced in royal granting of the land on February 3, 1997. Besides, there is a Dharma Studies school in a temple.
