759. Chonburi Artist Award of the Year 2550 in visual art (murals), Mr. Surachai Mangmi is fond of painting a mural with a great talent. He also spent time with drawing since studying in elementary school because his childhood lived in a temple for 8 years. Through 31 years ago, he has created murals more than 40 pieces and still goes on drawing. Mr. Surachai gave the comment to the youth that he wants to see the younger generation interest and realize about the value of a mural which is a work of art and should be maintained along the nation.760. Chonburi Artist of the year 2541 in visual art, Acting Second Lieutenant Prathom Suraprasit was born on December 23, 2480 in Prajinburi and is the son of Mr. Samai and Mrs. Riew Suraprasit. He was a former teacher who served as assistant director of the Banbeung School "Usahakamnukror". He is industrious, polite and ready to dedicate himself for common interest, especially the activities of the community; he is willing to help with his pleasure and full power. He also has extensive experience in the painting and architecture; he has created his art works regularly, such as design the offices, advertising billboard, shops, religious places. His important works are Banbeung district office which is three floors building with Thai modern style and the Buddha hall of the Banbeung School "Usahakamnukror". These works are recognized and appreciated by the general public.

"This book gathers a collection of images and important annals about Wat Kaobangsai, Chonburi and it is published to be the remembrance in the 120 years celebration of Wat Kaobangsai, the royal temple in Chonburi. The content compiles the photos of sacred places in Wat Kaobangsai which are as follows: 1. the principle Buddha image in the ubosod 2. Buddha's footprint mondop 3. Prong Pagoda 4. Tun Pagoda 5. Si Mahabodhi Chedi 6. bell tower 7. the pagoda after the ubosod 8. Pra Pale lai and Wat Kaobangsai's venerable person. In the appendix, it includes the copy of Wat Kaobangsai's history that is the address of the first abbot, Wat Kaobangsai as well as the annals about King Rama V offering royal Kathin robes at Wat Kaobangsai in 2430 and the annals about raising Wat Kaobangsai's position as a royal monastery. "

746. Prakru Paisarnsantum (Laopi Thongsa-nguan), the former abbot of Wat Koktajaroen was born on September 12, 2433 at Ban Kok in Patumtani. His parent is Mr. Arn and Mrs. Rod Thongsa-nguan. When he grew up, he followed his parents to live in Ban Tatakud, Phanthong sub district, Phanthong district, Chonburi. His father sent him to study at Wat Klangbangpakong School in Chachoengsao until the age of 20, he ordained at Wat Koktajaroen on July 16, 2453. He studied the Dharma discipline and astrology including a variety of magic so that he had knowledge in monk business. In 2480, he received the priest rank as the Provost named Prakru Paisarnsantum. Apart from taking care of monk business, he was a prophet and physician to help suffered people. When he was a very old age, he was sick of many diseases and died on 11 January 2505 at the age of 72 and 52 years in priesthood.

Mr.Suriyon Keawsakul was born on January 13th ,1958 in Ang Sila, Chonburi. He is a 46 year-old mand who is an expert of wood-carving. He was learning and experiences by himself. He is respected as one of the most talented artist that has the very uniqe and creative work. Most of his work are in many famous temple around Tahiland. He is awared as the role model of Chonburi as he working as a tutor of carving work in Chonburi community.

351. Wat Mai Sai Moon, founded on September 25, 1969, is located on the land having 43 acres, 1 ngans and 11 square two-meters. There was announced in royal granting of the land on October 25, 1973. Pra Kru Supatara Sasanakit is the only abbot who was known in the first building time. In 1972, a Dharma studies school was opened while a Pali studies school started teaching in 1989. Besides, a pre-school center was opened in 1980.

356. Wat Plang Kra Thin, founded on March 17, 1992 is located on the land having 9 acres, 2 ngans and 74 square two-meters. Apart from the principle Buddha statue that is in a characteristic of Marvichai (sitting on the haunches) in the Buddhist sanctuary, there are many monk's dwellings, such as a kitchen and a chapel. On those days, lots of Lead trees were growing on a temple location and a surrounding area so a former resident named a village "Ban Plang Kra Thin". Similarly, a temple's name is like a name of village until now. Besides, there is a Dharma Studies school in a temple.
